Lost Lands Outfit Ideas 🦖🦕
With August now upon us, that can only mean one thing: Lost Lands is next month! In case you haven’t heard of it (and you’ve probably been living in some deep isolation from the internet if you haven’t), this festival is the creation of none other than Excision himself with 2018 being it’s sophomore year and selling out its augural year in 2017. It’s a 3-day camping festival with nothing but bass music and “giant f#%king dinosaurs” all weekend long; it’s a basshead’s dream. If you’re planning to attend and have zero idea on what rave outfits or rave clothing to wear, RaverNationShop is here to help! We’ve compiled our favorite rave clothes that you can wear for a Lost Lands prehistoric theme. Ohio tends to be colder at night (for those of you from further south) so we’ve made sure to accessorize these rave outfits with outerwear so your rave clothes not only have you looking fresh, but also keep you warm if needed! Stay tuned for our next Lost Lands blog post to see RaverNationShop’s owner’s personal picks she’ll be rocking at Legend Valley next month!
1. Lace Up Suede Bodysuit with Fringe Skirt and Hooded Fringe Faux Suede Duster
In picking these rave clothes for our first Lost Lands outfit, we went with a prehistoric color palette involving more “earthy” tones and colors. Our Lace-Up Suede Bodysuit is one of our favorite rave bodysuits and perfectly matches with our prehistoric colors theme. While we’ve pictured it here in Black, you can also grab it in Honey for one of your rave outfits! Adjustable lacing along both sides make this one of the most adjustable rave bodysuits you could have amongst all your rave clothing. You can lace it up as tight (or as loose) as you want so your rave clothes fit your unique shape. We’ve paired this with our Fringe Gypsy Skirt to give our rave outfit a gypsy-esque cavewoman feel to it. This wrap-around skirt is tied at the hips so it’s also fully adjustable to your body, and the color perfectly matches the lacing detail on the bodysuit. Worried about the cold but don’t want to cover up your rave clothing? Wear our Hooded Fringe Faux Suede Duster over the bodysuit and you’ve still got a complete rave outfit! It has the same color fringe as the Gypsy Skirt, features a hood with a faux fur trim, and gives you that extra layer of warmth you might need!
2. Party Ostrich in Moon Rock and White Faux Fur Shrug
To honor the flying dinosaurs along with their land cousins, our next piece of rave clothing for our Lost Lands rave outfits is our Party Ostrich Bodysuit in Moon Rock. The feathers on the plunging neckline give this bodysuit a one-of-a-kind fancy prehistoric feel- you’ll be the duchess of the dinosaurs. It’s made with soft and sparkly holographic velvet, so you can keep some sparkle in some of your prehistoric rave clothes. This bodysuit ties around the neck so it’ll perfectly fit your body and stay secure while you headbang the night away and the back features a cheeky fit so you can show off that rave booty of yours too! We even found the perfect piece of outerwear for this bodysuit that WON’T cover the gorgeous feather detailing so you can rock your rave clothes confidently all night! Our White Faux Fur Shrug is the perfect option to cover up your arms when you feel that cold start to hit you and still lets you show off this super unique outfit! It even lights up too!
3. Suede Zipper Front Jumpsuit
If you want rave clothing that really stands out from the crowd and keeps you warm without the fuss of carrying a jacket around, then our Suede Zipper Front Bodysuit should be part of your Lost Lands rave outfits! This one piece jumpsuit comes in a rusty tie-dye color, still keeping in theme with prehistoric, earthy colors. It zips down the front so you can show as much or as little skin as you want and even includes a hoodie for an added factor of warmth! Rave clothes like this allow you to forget worrying about bringing a jacket that day and still rock a prehistoric look without being cold later on at night! Now all you can focus on is having the time of your life!
4. Cutout Halter Top and Cutout Pucker-Back Bottoms with Hip Length Coat
We took a different approach for a prehistoric theme with the fourth of our Lost Lands rave outfits. Dinosaurs are considered giant lizards in popular culture so we opted for some green rave clothes for this look. Our matching Cutout Halter Top and Cutout Pucker Back Bottoms are both a gorgeously shimmery forest green color, the perfect shade of rave clothing to achieve a dinosaur/lizard look. Both this top and rave booty shorts feature unique, geometric cutout patterns to give your outfit a funky twist to it. Pair these holographic rave clothes with our Hip Length Coat in Prairie to fend off the cold! The color complements the iridescent green of your top and rave shorts and it’s faux fur material is a perfect match for a prehistoric theme.
5. Fishnet Bodysuit with Rose Faux Fur Coat
For those of you a little more daring with your rave clothing, our Fishnet Bodysuit is great option for one of your Lost Lands outfits. The fishnet material lets your skin breathe all night while showing off your gorgeous, unique figure. Both the gold and gunmetal colors of this rave bodysuit can be used for a prehistoric theme! The gold/beige color gives your rave clothes that earthy feel to it, while the gunmetal color gives your outfit a dark, dragon look to it (dragons are similar to dinosaurs right?) With all the headbanging you’ll be doing the entire day, you probably won’t have to worry about getting cold in this bodysuit. But if you do, pair this bodysuit with our floor-length Vintage Rose Faux Fur Coat. The faux fur keeps your prehistoric look, and while the pink hue on this coat doesn’t exactly scream ‘dinosaurs’, it does give your outfit a super girly feel to it!
That wraps up our picks for Lost Lands! While these options are a great start for some inspiration for 3 days worth of prehistoric rave outfits, always remember your rave clothing can be whatever you want it to be! It’s all about you and whatever rave clothes you’re the most confident and comfortable in.
